What are NAVIT's mobility polcies?

Mobility guidelines are rules for each employee group. They define budget limits, permitted offers, and payment procedures. These rules are automatically applied in the NAVIT app and mobility card . Changes are implemented without IT intervention and are logged in an audit-proof manner.

How do the integrations with HR and payroll systems work?

We synchronize employee data, groups, cost centers, and locations from your HR system and transfer the payroll data back to Payroll. Common solutions such as Personio, Workday, SAP, and DATEV, as well as SSO, are supported. If a direct connection is not used, exports and imports via CSV also work seamlessly.

How granular can I be in defining rules?

Very granular. For example, you can set the budget amount and what should happen to the budget in the following month.

You also control which modules are allowed, such as a national public transport ticket, public transport, bike leasing, car sharing, refueling, or charging, including home charging. If desired, you can restrict providers so that expenses are spent exactly where they should be.

What happens if I change a policy during the current month?

How do I ensure tax and payroll compliance?

NAVIT supports common tax models such as tax exemption, flat-rate taxation, and salary sacrifice, and assigns expenses to the appropriate categories. Audit rules, a document archive, and a complete audit trail facilitate internal controls. Structured exports and integrations are available for payroll processing to ensure accurate posting of amounts. Note: This is not legal or tax advice; your tax team retains the final decision.

Can I include the Deutschland Ticket Jobticket and Split Pay in my mobility policy?

Yes. You can specify whether the ticket is billed separately or as part of the mobility budget, whether subsidies are tax-free or taxed at a flat rate, and how the employer and employee contributions are split. Split-Pay allows you to clearly separate fixed employer subsidies and private contributions without any additional manual steps for HR. This ensures the policy remains compliant and the payroll is automatically correct.
