Challenge: Introducing the Deutschlandticket with Minimal Administrative Effort

Deloitte was looking for a new provider for the Deutschlandticket. The goal was to offer the ticket to around 14,000 employees at 16 locations across Germany with simple billing and payroll processes — so that almost no additional effort would arise internally.

Solution: The NAVIT Deutschlandticket

NAVIT meets enterprise-level technical and security requirements.

Results: Processes Automated, Time Saved, Employees Delighted

Fast Implementation, Extensive Automation
16 locations, around 9,700 tickets per month (source: NAVIT platform data, January 2026) — all managed centrally through a single platform, with one consolidated payroll report and a clear dashboard. Less effort (according to Deloitte, just one hour a month), better visibility, and significantly reduced administrative costs.

Simpler Processes Mean Higher Employee Satisfaction
70% of all employees registered in the app and subscribed to the NAVIT Deutschlandticket right after launch. That shows how enthusiastic employees are about the new benefit. The simple handling and flexibility were especially well received.

Split Pay as an Innovative Solution for the Deutschlandticket Price Increase
The Deutschlandticket price increase to €58 in January 2025 (and eventually to €63 in January 2026) posed challenges for many companies. Thanks to NAVIT's Split Pay feature, however, Deloitte was able to respond without any issues. NAVIT developed a tailored solution that lets Deloitte continue offering the same attractive benefit with no additional cost (in terms of the subsidy amount).
