Before NAVIT, managing mobility benefits at Hyundai Motor Europe meant coordinating several providers in parallel. Each one came with its own process, and pulling them together took the team around 10 to 15 hours of administrative work every month. There was no single view of what the company was spending on mobility.
For employees, the setup left little room to choose. The options on offer did not fit every commute or living situation, and people who did not qualify for a company car had few alternatives.
At the same time, the company wanted to move in a different direction. It was looking for a more flexible and inclusive mobility offer, one that would work for employees across locations, provide alternatives to the traditional company car, and support its sustainability goals. Doing all of that through a single platform was the condition, not the bonus.
The specific pain points that Hyundai sought to resolve:
- More flexible, inclusive mobility solution
- Support employees across multiple locations
- Contribute to sustainability goals
- Offer alternatives to traditional company cars
- Simplify mobility management via one platform
